If you follow me (on my personal account or on the brand page), you’ll know I love, and have always loved, an outfit selfie. Not out of vanity, but as a way to share outfits, in a way that feels super comfortable to me. I’ve tried to shoot looks ‘properly’ and have someone point a camera at me, but they just never come out how I imagine and lets be honest.... no one knows my angles like I do!
I joke, but as silly as it seems to share selfies in my bedroom mirror, I just love it. It's easy and it's fun and I'm sharing them here on the website so that you can see ways to style each of my pieces. I want to offer you super versatile pieces of clothing that you can wear over and over again, so I'm going to show you how I wear them with pieces that you already have in your wardrobe.
I'd like to introduce you to a new series; How to Style - the Selfie Gallery. Coming to you twice weekly, I'll be sharing ways to wear all of our pieces, a handful of ways.
Starting with the Iris.
First up; style her with a black flared jean (these are the Topshop Jamie Flare - I recomemend them to everyone), a glitzy bag and a white shoe for a day to evening look.
Wear with a sleeveless jumpsuit for a different, but still really fun yet sophisticated feel. (Jumpsuit is super old Zara, boots are also super old Topshop).
I love a coloured trouser to add something major to a look; I will wear these amazing pink kick flares with almost ANY of my pieces. (I got mine made when I was in Vietnam last year!)
I'm clearly having a love affair with red shoes, I'm realising as I put these images together. Style the Iris with a super ripped jean and a bright shoe for a relaxed, yet polished look.
Finally; style the blouse with the humble black satin slip skirt. Add your favourite belt and boot and you're good to go.
